Hotel Staff Calls For Help When They Find Dog Left In Hot Car

Hotel staff at a Holiday Inn are now heroes for one dog. They spotted the dog left alone in a parked car in the hotel parking lot. The owners were nowhere to be found, so the staff called the police for help. When the police arrived, they broke the car’s window to rescue the overheating pooch.

Once rescued from the overheating car, the police officers gave the dog some water to drink and splashed cold water over the dog’s body to help it cool down. The officers measured the temperature inside the car and found that it was more than 94 degrees, much too hot for any living thing to remain trapped inside.

Owners should not leave their animals unattended in a closed vehicle no matter the temperature outside.
