Dogs that go through trying situations can suffer from severe anxiety when around people. One pooch was clearly experiencing these symptoms when he arrived at the shelter. When people would get close, he would go to the furthest corner of his kennel to try and get away. And if people continued to approach, he would shake in terror.

He was defeated and struggled with trusting people after some bad experiences with other humans. The shelter staff had never seen such a terrified dog. They knew he needed to get out of the shelter and into a foster home where he could learn to trust people.
