Dog That Spent 13 Years At A Shelter Finally Finds A Home

A dog that spent her life in a kennel now has a forever home. Summer was the dog that somehow always got overlooked from being adopted. The team at the shelter started to see the dog as their own and they figured that after 13 years there, the shelter was Summer’s home. They treated her with loving care.

Eventually, the dog developed arthritis, but they say she never lost her spirited nature. She’s the sweetest dog despite her advanced age and medical problems. Then one day, someone applied to adopt the dog that she had seen on Facebook and felt compelled to adopt.
