Woodstock The Dog Passed Away And Owner Tom Hardy Wrote A Tribute To The Animal

Tom Hardy had a truly beloved dog that he named Woodstock. Their chance meeting and later adoption truly touched Hardy and he enjoyed the dog’s company. Hardy rescued Woodstock from expressway in Atlanta when the dog jumped out and nearly got run over by a Prius. Hardy, who loves dogs, jumped right in to help.

He adopted the dog and named him Woodstock – Woody for short. At the time, Woody was only 11 weeks old and clearly didn’t know how to protect himself while living out on the streets. Hardy then took the dog on set with him when he was filming.

When the dog passed away, Hardy gave him a touching tribute. Watch the video to learn more.
