Chihuahua

The Chihuahua is a Mexican breed of toy dog. Chihuahuas are known to possess loyalty, charm, and the cute attitude of a large dog.

Small dogs need to be trained just as much as other breeds, especially since, without proper training, these dogs can go out of control in your household.

Chihuahuas are a little bit of a paradox, as they are quite fearless when facing larger dogs, especially when they feel they need to protect their guardians.

However, they are also afraid of heights and loud noises. This behavior is probably related to its small size and low muscle density.

Even so, the fear could also be rooted in the dog’s genes and reinforced by their upbringing and experiences with other people and dogs.

This dog breed is genetically a very social dog, but if there are any fears, they might be due to the ongoing abuse, neglect, and lack of socialization.

Miniature Schnauzer

The Miniature Schnauzer is a very small breed that originated in Germany in the mid- to late-19th century.

The smallest members of the Schnauzer family also have one of the biggest predispositions to fear heights.

Schnauzers also have a very strong character and need amazing socialization skills to avoid not only overly fearful behavior but also jealous and possessive behavior towards their caregivers.
