10. Dachshund
Last but not least, the Dachshund is the tenth dog breed on our list! This pup is adored by everyone and is always ready to steal the show with its goofy and lovable personality.
The word Dachshund comes from the German language, and it means “badgers dog”. This refers to the origins of this dog breed that used to dig dens for badger hunting. The Dachshund is energetic and needs lots of running and activity. They are the perfect buddy you can take with you on a hiking adventure, and they are also keen on following scents.
Despite its stubbornness, this breed is easy to train and enjoys learning new things.
