#8 Elephant

The domesticated elephant is frequently described as a sweet giant by zookeepers and trainers. A wild elephant, however, can be among the most lethal animals on the planet if it is angry, mistreated, or sometimes even if it is approached at the wrong moment.

Elephants are notorious for having sudden fits of rage and being vengeful. They can kill by treading on, goring, or by striking with their trunk. Each year, hundreds of individuals are killed by wild or mistreated elephants in India.

Elephants shouldn’t be kept in captivity, especially in settings that only serve to increase their tendency for aggression, such as cramped quarters, the use of bullhooks for negative reinforcement training, and a lack of suitable mental, physical, and social stimulation.
