Firefighters Arrive On Scene Of House Fire And Make Tragic Discovery

When firefighters reported to the scene of a housefire, they were met with a tragic discovery. In the backyard there was a dog chained up. The dog had suffered severe burns and needed immediate attention. The rescuers nicknamed the dog Smokey and ensured that he got the attention he needed to make a recovery.

The dog was extremely distressed when rescuers found him. They rushed him to the vet who put him into surgery immediately due to the severe burns on his backside and hind legs. The vet said he would be OK. The dog spent a week in the vet’s care and got multiple blood transfusions and round the clock care.
