Abandoned Pit Bull Struggles To Warm Up To People Making It Tough To Get Adopted

Sheldon is a pit bull that was extremely shy. He had been abandoned by his family at an animal shelter. The dog was well trained and would offer his paw to shake and sit on command. But he had a difficult time warming up to people after all he had been through and the tragic experience of being abandoned by his family.

People would come and go through the shelter, but there Sheldon sat, waiting for someone to love him again. He didn’t understand that he wasn’t winning anyone over because of his shy nature and inability to trust people.
