Senior dogs that are abandoned, grow old on the streets or end up in shelters face a more difficult road than younger dogs. They are much harder to find a new family for because people want younger, healthier dogs. One couple has a serious heart for these dogs in need. They go around rescuing senior dogs that everyone else thinks are not worth saving.
After several years of caring for senior dogs, they’ve now rescued about 500 dogs according to their estimates. The inspiration for their rescue of senior dogs comes from a dog named Moses who suffered a spinal tumor and was given only a few weeks to live.
