Higgins The Dog Spent First Six Years Of Life In A Shelter

Sometimes, people think that dogs are just fine living in a shelter. After all, pets just lounge and sleep all day so why would it matter if the dog just lounged and slept in a shelter versus a home. One animal shelter is doing all that they can to make it clear that is not the case. Animals need stimulation and a place to run.

Higgins the dog had lived his whole life in a shelter. He spent six years waiting for someone to take him home. He never gave up believing that he would find a home even after a rough start of being adopted and then returned to the shelter.

Watch the video to learn more about Higgins and his wonderful adoption story.

It’s so wonderful that the dog now has a home.
