Higgins The Dog Spent First Six Years Of Life In A Shelter

Sometimes, people think that dogs are just fine living in a shelter. After all, pets just lounge and sleep all day so why would it matter if the dog just lounged and slept in a shelter versus a home. One animal shelter is doing all that they can to make it clear that is not the case. Animals need stimulation and a place to run.

Higgins the dog had lived his whole life in a shelter. He spent six years waiting for someone to take him home. He never gave up believing that he would find a home even after a rough start of being adopted and then returned to the shelter.
