Woman Finds Six Dogs Chained Up Outside And Discovers Their Owner Isn’t Coming For Them

In New Mexico, it’s illegal to leave dogs chained up outside. A woman found six dogs chained outdoors and took immediate action. The authorities tried to contact the dogs’ owner to let them know the laws concerning outdoor chained dogs. What they found was that the owner was in jail for unrelated charges and would not be coming for the dogs.

The rescue team was not sure how long the dogs were left alone to try and protect themselves from the terrible conditions. But it was clear they were not in the best health. They also had bad sunburn because New Mexico is not a safe place to remain outdoors for extended periods of time.
