An owner dumped two helpless puppies in an agricultural waterway that had no way out. Anytime the dogs heard a noise, they would perk up, excited and thinking that their owner had come back for them. They were repeatedly disappointed though. Thankfully, the two had one another to cling to during the difficult time.
The area was a very poor area, so those who saw the dogs did not have enough money to help. One man decided to help anyway and brought them water and what little food he could. He then called a rescue organization to get the dogs medical care since he could not afford.
