Great Pyrenees That Was Suffering From Severe Health Conditions Finds A New Home

When a woman came upon a hairless great pyrenees at a shelter, she could tell the dog had severe health issues. She also knew that this dog needed her desperately. She got the dog out of that shelter as quickly as possible and immediately took him to the vet. The vet weighed the dog in at just 60 pounds, which is about two-thirds of what the dog should weigh.

He had a bacterial infection, a fungal infection and mange all affecting his skin, which is why he had no hair on his body. She quarantined the dog to get him the medical attention he so desperately needed.
