Soldier Leaves To Serve Overseas And Adopted Dog Is Terribly Sad

Three years prior to being stationed overseas, a man went to a shelter in search of a dog that needed a friend. He found Brendle and the two became fast friends. The man and his wife already had another dog, but that dog tended to favor the wife and Brendle favored the man

When he went overseas, the older family dog seemed unphased, but Brendle was so saddened by the fact that his dad wasn’t around anymore. The dog will sit in the front window and just cry. To show the dog that he still cared and was around, the soldier sent home a special item that would show the dog that he hadn’t forgotten him.
