If you didn’t know, designer dog breeds are basically the coolest thing in the dog ownership world. These dogs are bred by crossing two purebred dogs of very different breeds, which results in a “designer” dog that’s meant to have the best characteristics of both parents.

Plenty of people decide to get designer dog breeds, mostly because they think they’ll be much healthier and better behaved than any other traditional purebred dog. In some cases, this is true, but it is still important to do thorough research before deciding on a designer dog breed.
