2. French Bulldog
Frenchies are smaller and friendlier versions of the old gladiator dogs that took part in bull-baiting, a blood sport that was forbidden in the mid-nineteenth century. They embody the qualities of the previously mentioned gladiator dogs, therefore they are both clever and loyal.
Due to their petite stature, French Bulldogs are ideal for city people who do not have a yard or who live in small apartments.
Additionally, they do not require as much upkeep as, for instance, longer-haired breeds. Their short coat needs little care and simply the occasional bath. Trimming and pricey grooming sessions are never required for French Bulldogs.
