German Shepherds Raise Baby Chickens Who Need Foster Parents To Help Them Grow

Most baby animals need their parents for a little while so that they can learn about the world, grow and develop. Two German shepherds have taken this responsibility seriously with some baby chickens. The little chicks get some serious doting from their unlikely adoptive parents. The dogs must learn how to be gentle with the tiny chicks because they’re so much smaller than the dogs.

At one point, you can see the dogs giving the chicks a bath with their tongues. The dogs follow the chicks around the yard as they explore and learn about the outdoors. The German shepherds are surprisingly calm and easygoing around the chicks.

Watch the movie to see how these German shepherds adopt the chicks.

That’s a unique relationship that these animals have formed.
