#5 Siamese

It should come as no surprise that Balinese and Oriental Shorthair cats are distant relatives of Siamese cats. All three should be mentioned because they are renowned for their exuberant pranks. Get a Siamese cat only if you want loud cats and throaty meows. They enjoy chatting! They also enjoy trying new things. Siamese cats, if left to their own ways, can turn on faucets or knock over objects to amuse themselves.

Your Siamese cat can also climb on curtains, furniture, or bookcases to get away from another pet or a guest. If anything is frightening them and they need to get out, some cats may scramble up any surface they can find.

To acquire a better perspective of their prey, whether it be mice or birds, all cats are driven to climb on higher surfaces. And even though your Siamese only spends time indoors, it still has the same climbing instincts and needs as wild cats.
