City Ordinance Means Dog Owner Has To Give Up Pit Bull Or Pay Fine

A Michigan couple adopted a pit bull that had a very troubled life on the streets before they adopted him. They loved their beloved new pet, but quickly they found that they faced an uphill battle when it comes to welcoming their new dog.

Their city has an ordinance against owning pit bulls, believing that all dogs of that breed are vicious and dangerous animals. However, as the couple got to know their pet more and more, they were certain that wasn’t true about their sweet rescue. They had to do something to change this unfair rule about dogs that have been stereotyped.
