A man was out paddling in his kayak when he came upon a dog on an island. It was a very hot day and poor conditions for a dog to be out and about alone. In fact, it was 100 degrees out. The man approached the dog to see if he could help him. The minute he approached the dog, the dog was so happy and there was real joy in his face.
The dog was clearly a family dog that had been abandoned on the remote island. Additionally, a dog that has lived as a house pet would have no understanding of how to make it in the wild like this.
