Blue the dog was tragically left behind at a high-kill shelter. While his family did not want to give him up, there were things outside of their control. But Blue wasn’t ready to give up on his family. He seemed to be waiting every day for them to walk through the doors of the shelter and come back for him.
One of the women who worked at the shelter felt as though Blue needed to go home with her. While they completed the paperwork, she started bringing Blue gifts to win him over so that he would feel comfortable with her when the time came for him to go home with.
