When rescuers found this dog, he was exceedingly overweight and could hardly stand up because his joints were so taxed from the weight. They took him in and started to examine him. What they found was that the dog suffered from a thyroid problem and that’s why he was so overweight.
They provided the dog some important medication and the dog quickly began to lose weight. What the rescuers didn’t expect was that his weightless journey would give others hope and motivation to embark on their own journey. He quickly got adopted as people really connected with the dog and his journey to improved health.
