Raw meat and fish

As I mentioned before, raw meat and eggs are simply bad for your dog, as they might cause food poisoning.

As for fish, it’s even worse: some types of fish, like salmon, trout, shad, or sturgeon, might have a parasite that might cause what we know as “fish disease” or “salmon poisoning disease”.

Even if it’s treatable, you need to ask for help right away, as some of the first signs include vomiting, fever, and big lymph nodes.

Salt

It’s not that smart to share your chips and pretzels with your dog. As you might know, eating way too much salt might cause your dog to be more thirsty.

Some of the most relevant symptoms of eating too much salt include vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, high temperatures, and even seizures.

Sugary foods and drinks

Way too much sugar for your dog means the same thing it does for us, humans: it might make your furry friend a bit overweight but also cause problems with his teeth.
