Colleen has a dog that has extreme anxiety whenever his beloved owner leaves the house. She tried everything she could think of to calm the dog when she was gone, including get tranquilizers from the vet. But nothing seemed to relax the dog while she was gone.
Her vet made a recommendation that at first sounded pretty crazy to Colleen. The vet told her to make a dummy of herself. Colleen thought that there was no way her dog would go for that. But she did it anyway and even slept with the dummy doll so that it would smell like her.
