In other countries, dogs are still sold and slaughtered for meat. One rescue organization devotes their time and efforts to saving these animals with a dark and scary future. The rescue team came upon an animal in very rough shape. Pearl the dog was missing a leg and had a bad skin condition that needed immediate medical attention.
The rescue team did not have a great feeling about the dog’s prospects. It looked very bleak for Pearl. But Pearl proved that she was a fighter. Within just a month, the dog was running around at the rescue facility with the other dogs that were staying there.
