Home Alone: 7 Dog Breeds That Will Stay Happily at Home Without You

4. Shiba Inu

Shiba Inu is another great option if you know that you are busy and can’t stay constantly with your friend. They are extremely confident and independent, and they actually enjoy spending a little bit of time on their own.

You can simply train them to remain alone for lengthy periods of time if you have them when they are pups. But there is one thing you must consider before starting. Shiba Inu is an active breed, and this means that you have to do your best to meet their exercise needs. Walk them before you leave home, and then once again when you get back. This should do the trick.

The best scenario for living in a Shiba Inu home alone is when you have a big yard. First of all, make sure that the fences are secured and your dog can’t escape. After this, you can leave your pup to roam around, and in this way, they can burn off all that extra energy by themselves.
