Signs of poisoning

Dogs might show various symptoms of poisoning, especially after being exposed to a dangerous toxin. If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t hesitate to call the vet:

Drooling or foaming at the mouth

After eating something that they shouldn’t have, most dogs suffer from irritation of the mouth. This goes even further when the dog nibbles on a poisonous plant or something that’s been dipped in a toxic substance.

If you start noticing that your dog is drooling or foaming, then try to figure out what he ate, and if you find it, remove it from your dog’s reach. Contact your vet for more advice.
