Seizures and muscle spasms

Most toxins affect the nervous system and muscles. This might eventually lead to seizures, tremors, and even involuntary muscle spasms, and in most cases, toxic plants and medications are the cause of it.

If your dog starts to tremor involuntarily, then look around to see if you can find the toxins. Involuntary tremors and twitching should be read as possible signs of toxin ingestion unless your dog suffers from epilepsy.

Make sure you contact your vet if you notice muscle spasms, tremors, or even seizures. If you don’t act fast, toxins will find their way into your dog’s system, which might even lead to death.
