#6 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
The United Kingdom is the country of origin for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The little companion dog we know today was a lot different in the 17th century. Although the breed was crossed with flat-nosed breeds, breeders also tried to resurrect the original appearance of the breed in the 1900s.
This tiny breed, which is suitable as a lapdog or a companionship dog, feeds on affection. This dog gets along nicely with both kids and other pets. They don’t need a lot of exercise, have a peaceful, loving, and affectionate disposition, and are tolerant of any environment, making them an excellent breed for senior citizens.
