A rescue team got a call about some abandoned puppies on a highway in Turkey. Photos of the puppies showed them huddled together hugging one another. The rescue team knew these puppies were in grave danger. They were laying on a tarp in the highway’s median and had clearly been abandoned. Their owner might have left them there instead of euthanizing them.
The puppies had been abandoned for weeks. And, the puppies had been abandoned during cold weather, putting their lives in even greater danger. However, these dogs had good survival instincts and kept close to one another to use their body heat to protect each other.
