Over 43,000 different species of spiders currently exist on this planet. I know, I know, there’s a certified phobia caused by these tiny little creatures.

But have you ever asked yourself WHY are you afraid of spiders? Besides their frisky and scary look, few species of spiders represent a danger to humans: only 30 species, which is less than one-tenth of one percent).

Here’s another thing: did YOU know that spider venom isn’t meant to harm humans? Their venom is specifically created to work on smaller animals, so in the worst case, the venom of a spider might produce a couple of skin lesions or produce allergic reactions that could later result in fatalities.
