Hero is a dog who was playing outside one day when he spotted something in the grass. It’s surprising this dog could even see the object because it was green and blended right in with the landscape. He tried to get his owner’s attention to get help for the bird he had just found lying in the grass.
The dog would lick the baby bird, look up at his owner with pleading eyes and then lick the bird again. He was trying to draw attention to the fact that this animal needed some help. The owner stepped in to help Hero care for the bird.
