8 Toxic Foods Your Cat Should NEVER Even Touch

#6 Coconut flesh and coconut water

Generally speaking, there is no way that a cat in the wild would have ever eaten a coconut. But this doesn’t stop our curious furry friends from being curious about coconut and maybe wanting to have a little taste.

Fresh coconut meat and the water from the coconut can give your pet some digestive issues, but if it’s in small quantities, it is unlikely that it will cause any problems for your pet. So if the cat ends up eating a small piece of coconut, it is not the end of the world.

But generally speaking, you should avoid letting them eat coconut, because it contains too much potassium for them to be able to process it. Yet, coconut oil is good to use if your cat has dried paws; before using it, talk to your vet to see if it is okay to use it as holistic medicine.
