An elderly couple adopted a new puppy. At first, they weren’t so sure that this dog was the right one for them and they contemplated taking him back. But they decided to give the dog a little longer in their home and try crate training it. Later, they would be so glad they made that decision because this dog played an important life-saving role.
One night, the dog came to sleep in the same bed as the couple. The wife was awakened by the dog’s barking part of the way through the night. At first, she was annoyed, but then she noticed the dog was on top of her husband.
