A team of rescuers got a call about a dog that was sitting in the road near a gutter. He was in terrible shape and the team wasn’t quite sure what to do other than rush him to the emergency vet’s office. The dog weighed less than half what he should have weighed and was unable to walk.
They gave the dog medical treatment and then sent him to an experienced foster home. The foster mom said that the dog seemed like such a sad puppy. Within a few days though, the dog began to perk up and was showing how spirited he truly was.
