A dog named Athena showed just how much of a hero she is. After a family’s daughter went off to college, the brother started hanging out with the family dog all the time to keep him company. Both the boy and the dog were somewhat lonely without their sister.

One day, the boy decided to take the dog fishing. They had a great day together but tragedy struck on the way home. The boy experienced a faint spell and wrecked the car. At first, he was blacked out, but knew he needed to get out of the car to safety.
