Dog With Swimmer’s Syndrome Learns How To Stand And Run Around

When rescuers found this puppy, he was flat as a pancake. He suffered from swimmer’s syndrome, meaning he would lay flat on his stomach with his legs sprawled out. They had to teach the dog how to stand and walk. With time, the puppy began thriving and standing without any prompting.

His family spent half-hour increments of standing and walking training with the dog to help him learn how to walk and stand. They designed a special box for the dog that he would walk through while having support of his shoulders to help him overcome swimmer’s syndrome.
