German Shepherds Born Hairless Grow Up Without Any Major Health Complications

When a woman arrived at a shelter to adopt two hairless German shepherd puppies, the shelter team informed her that the dogs were born that way. The woman didn’t believe them though and assumed the puppies had a rare form of mange that keeps dogs from growing hair. However, even after medical treatment, they didn’t grow hair.

What the woman discovered was that the dogs had alopecia, which was keeping them from growing hair like normal dogs of their breed. These dogs did not have any other health issues though and they are doing just fine despite being hairless.
