Rescuers found a pit bull on the side of the road. The dog had been through a serious tragedy and was paralyzed in her hind legs. The rescue team got the dog the medical treatment it needed to recover, but for the rest of its life, it would struggle get around.
The dog lived at the animal shelter for about four years. At one point, there was someone who came forward to adopt the dog, but then they backed out and decided they didn’t want the sweet animal. When a man saw the dog’s photos online, he knew he needed to adopt this spirited dog.
