A puppy was rejected by his mother at just one day old. The experience was very traumatic for the poor pup and he really suffered from it. But then, he found comfort and care he needed in a surprising place. You see, dogs this age need comfort and milk from their mothers. Without that, they can’t survive.
At a Cleveland shelter, the staff knew what to do to help this dog survive. The staff was so caring and loving, but they knew the dog needed more than human love and companionship. He needed intervention if he was going to survive.
