The first time a woman saw a fox in her lawn she didn’t think much of it. But then slowly, the two became close friends. She looked forward to seeing the fox and began to interact with her regularly. She now looks forward to the fox joining her in her yard.
The woman sees the fox as a window into the wild. She learns immensely from the animal in ways she never imagined she would. No two encounters with the wild animal are the same so she’s constantly learning more and more about how foxes live.
