Rescue organizations and shelters frequently refer to cats with mixed heritage that don’t fit into any one breed as “domestic shorthairs.”
Domestic shorthairs are frequently among the friendliest, cuddliest cats you will see. Whether they are friendly strays, lost by their owners, or rescued as kittens, these cats can be extremely affectionate and, after a time of adjustment, frequently form close ties with their adoptive families.
If you want a cat who is grateful to be in a warm home and curled up on the couch with you, these devoted cats might be the best choice.
