Sit

This is the first trick you need to teach your dog. Even so, as simple as this command might be, it’s also super important.

After learning this, your dog might learn how to sit on command, which might prove useful on a daily basis.

For instance, when you’re waiting at traffic lights, the way to do it is to hold a treat above your dog’s head, then slowly move your hand further up.

Your dog might follow the treat with his little nose, which will instantly make him sit. Then reward him by giving him a tasty treat.

In time, you can introduce a hand and word signal, then increase the distractions where your four-legged furry friend must sit.
