2. Chihuahua

While trying to find the perfect words to describe a chihuahua, the only ones that we have found, and we think are the most accurate, are “tiny” and” feisty.” These two should always be used together because they represent the essence of this breed.

This small buffon weighs around five pounds and is only six to nine inches tall. But even if they are small, chihuahuas will be by your side for a longer period of time compared to other breeds. They are one of the longest-living dog breeds, and their life span is somewhere around two decades.

These pooches are generally healthy. That means fewer vet visits for you and your pup. Also, because they have short coats and don’t shed that much, they don’t need professional grooming.

All in all, the chihuahua is a great breed for those who don’t have a lot of money to spend on their dog. They are loyal, but you need to know that they have a lot of energy. So, be ready to play with your pup and take them for daily walks.
