Yes, Akita Inus also make the list, even if one would not think so based solely on their appearance. They do not look like they would have that much fur, but this Japanese large dog breed is actually very fluffy, despite their short coat.

Akitas are originally mountain dogs, which is why they have a double coat, and much like the Cardigan Corgis, they also shed all year long as their coat is constantly changing. You will have to make sure to brush them regularly, besides any other grooming appointments they may need! So give it some thought before you commit to getting one of these smiley puppies!
