7. Afghan Hound

The Afghan Hound is a kind, obedient, and cuddly pup that has a similar attitude to a cat’s. They’re quite independent, which makes training them a challenging process. But it’s all worth it in the end.

If you’re an active person, these pups are great for you because, according to different sources, Afghan Hounds are happiest when they get plenty of physical activity in a day.

The American Kennel Club says that they require a lot of fenced-in running space. These lovely dogs are excellent hunting partners, but occasionally they might get a little ditzy. Aside from that, they are hard to teach because they are sensitive but also very independent.

However, if you are patient and you want to have an Afghan hound, their autonomous attitude shouldn’t stop you! And not to mention, their coats are simply magnificent!
