In Southeast Asia, dog meat is still consumed as a meal. It’s troubling, but there are no protections for dogs in the area. One man wanted to make a difference though when he found a dog caged behind a restaurant. The dog’s head was stuck between the cage’s bars and it was crying.
The man knew that the dog was awaiting the day when it would be cooked and eaten because other dogs had suffered the same fate at the restaurant. Instead of buying the dog from the restaurant, he had a talk with the restaurant owner to save the dog named Lucky.
