Taylor Swift is known for many things: her chart-topping music, her successful career, and her loyal fan base. But one thing that might not be as well known about the singer-songwriter is her love for cats. In fact, she’s the proud owner of three adorable cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.

Meredith Grey was the first to join the Swift household in 2014, followed by Olivia Benson later that year. Both cats are Scottish Folds, known for their distinctive folded ears. But it wasn’t until the set of the music video for her song “Me!” in 2019 that Taylor met Benjamin Button and decided to adopt him.

Swift has long been outspoken about her love of cats, even making references to them in some of her songs. In her 2017 song “Gorgeous,” she sings, “There’s nothing I hate more than what I can’t have, and / Guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats, alone.” And it’s easy to understand why she adores them so much—one look at these incredibly cute felines will leave you speechless.
